Basketball Inspiration Anyone? His name is Jamario Moon

I have a new hero.... I confess.... His name is ....
Jamario Moon, #33 of the Toronto Raptors

I love basketball... well I used to love it in high school when I played at least a hundred years ago, but I am not a big NBA fan at all. The March Madness when it's down to the final four maybe.... but NBA, just doesn't seem like there's much struggle...
They make it look too easy....

Well, yesterday I learned about struggle and a never give up attitude...

I read his story online yesterday and what a testimonial for sticking it out....
For never quitting... for ever loving perseverance......

Somehow it touched me deeply. He's 26 or 27 and just now getting his big break in the NBA after years of World League, underdog league, training teams...you name it, he did it.
He even played for the Harlem Globtrotters. When asked how high he could really jump he said as high as I need to to keep my job.... which was really high.

Even as it looked like he was making the Toronto team this season he and his wife were still cutting out coupons and shopping at Wal-Mart. He never took it for granted and he never gave up!

Never say die!
Never quit....

Wow, how many places in our life or in our day could we use a lesson from a Jamario?

Never give up!
Hold the DREAM close and never let it go!
Keep picturing it.... and...
NEVER GIVE UP!!!!!
