- What's your niche?
- Handcrafted and ritual items designed for self-empowerment as well as beauty, pleasure, function
I am also a self-empowerment mentor for several people--- I am more of a "village Wise Woman" type than a trained professional. I share all of the tools, knowledge, and experience that I have with others with the intention of "helping others learn to help themselves."
My attitude toward this sharing is based in the old saying " Give a hungry person a fish, and they eat one time. Teach them how to fish and they can feed themselves."
I share "tools" I have found to be successful. I share my knowedge of those tools, and my experiences using those tools- - and I expect the other person to become self-sufficient. If self-sufficiency is not the other person's choice, or serious challenges require more than my simple sharing, I give directions to charities or professional help.

I am just venturing into serious business manifestation and joining Portable Empire is one of my first steps
- What are your plans, goals and dreams for your Portable Empire?
- For my personal pleasure and growth,I am working on my own line of "wearable art" and repurposed items with the goal of creating pieces that are inspirational, functional, and carry the energies of healing, and of self-empowerment for all who buy /use/give/or receive my work.
I also am working on finding a medium or forum to be able to translate the survival skills I have learned from over a decade of bringing up two minor children alone in an expensive city like San Diego while living on a fraction of the "Poverty Level Income" with a sporadiic and shaky "support" system.
I have come to realize that what my family and learned in our toughest times may be important survivial skills for others who are feeling frightened or depressed by the current economy. My children and I learned that "Wealth" is a state of mind more than digits printed on a bank account or any ephemeral symbol like money.
I have a Heart Sister in Washington State who is working with me to locate and accquire the appropriate land for a Spiritual Sanctuary that celebrates all forms and phases of Life. We are in the process of doing the legal work to manifest "The Center For Eclectic Cosmology" as a chapel with the intention of it being open to multifaith uses. We are working on manifesting a Labyrinth, a healing retreat for humans and for animals, as well as programs that will teach Life Skills for the Aquarian Age. Our focus is to help others learn how to help themselves and become inspired to "pass it on."
- What's your biggest challenge in building your Portable Empire?
- Feeling that I am wasting time, accomplishing nothing at all by sitting still, being quiet, learning to relax and "let Deity provide for me" rather than charging out and winning the entire war by myself.
Learning to "let go" and let Deity, and others around me have an opportunity to help me help myself rather than attempt to carry the entire load alone.
I have chosen some "busy work" for myself while I resolve the above-mentioned challenges:
I am working with Ho'oponopono, the Emotional Freedom Technique, using my "Thankfulness Box" in tandem with my "Manifested Miracles Box", as well as "the Million Dollar Experiment" and positive Change IS happening, --- of course I want it all to happen "last week!"
- Who inspires and/or influences you?
- My children-- now young adults, and house mates. When my daughter and son were in Elementary school and we were at our lowest financial ebb (and well below the so-called "the Poverty Level Income") My children taught me that "We are only poor in money-- we are together and that is all that matters."
Three Heart sisters-- Joanne, Lola, Kelly all inspire me and add great joy to my life.
- What do you need? (others browsing here might have it!)
- I think that more than anything, I need fresh perspectives to rise above the "stuck" place I feel I am in.
I am like the retired firehorses that would try to get out of the pastures every time they heard the old fire-bells--- I haven't figured out how to "re-train myself" on this one.
