Wow--didn't see this group here before.
We've been discussing accountability over on the portable empire university forum--and then i will be leading teleseminars on accountability twice monthly through my"Journaling For Achievement" group over at Women Internet Marketers ning.
Napoleon Hill's work will be discussed during those calls, as well.
Accountability is a Master Mind of sorts I'd say--plus if you say your going to do something, then you'd better do it--but we'll leave the "or else" to grim determination, which I'm just not into.
What is it I need to get going on?? A sales letter for my latest e-book!!! I keep saying I'm going to do it--well the time is coming--I can feel it!!

Wow, what a ride these last few months have been! For some reason I hadn't been getting notifications of posts in here. :( In any case my updates are:
In product Factory 7, wrapping up soon. Will launch my 1st ebook on how to find people online using free resources.
In the process of setting up 2nd site which is focuses on teaching people how to effectively use the internet quickly and efficiently in their daily lives.
Taking Jack Humphreys 16 Steps Course, wraps up in 2 weeks. OMG--Lots of homework!!! Emphasis on SEO and building authority sites that are trusted and respected--no get rich quick ideas, just great practical advice on getting traffic, promoting, proper Wordpress use etc. Best of all, it was Free, but I woulda paid based on the content!!! Classes tue/thur nights from 7pm til almost 11 on some nights! LOTS of info. Lots of Q&A
Joan, I think you'll love Wordpress one you get used to it! Please feel free to ask any questions. I've gotten past the initial learning curve. If you install it, install it using the latest version, but check that the theme you use works well with it..Everything I've heard or read in the last several months says worpress rules for SEO and visibility.
Looking into starting a non-profit! I had to shelve my original book idea for now -due to potential legal issues. Since I mentioned another person in it, even though its not derogatory and it had a name change, it could leave me open for legal issues. I don't want to tempt the fates with that right now. Sooo...
The non-profit would focus on teens in low income school districts. Too long to go into here, but I have a new twist on it.
RE: SL, I haven't been able to log on forever.
Lastly, Joan I'm so sorry, still working my way to reading your book! I'm working full time but my schedule will free up after these courses come to a close.
Glad to hear everyones updates! I need to finish my ebook asap. May enlist in VA help for formatting...

congratulations D. Sounds like you've been really busy.
I was all gung ho this morning to get one or two websites functional, and ran into a glitch with my merchant services so I'm a bit de-railed just now. Will try again this afternoon.
Once they are functional, I'll have a bunch of questions about Wordpress!

yeah! fun to see this site active again! yes, i will have tons of wordpress questions for sure. it is already installed on my website, but i want to install a better theme that allows for lots of widgets, etc. and i am so paralyzed still by fear of messing up my web pages, that i can't seem to get them updated. i have a new testimonial to post on banish and some additions/corrections to the sales page and the Thank you page. oh well, it's all a learning experience, i think. lol

Joan, just remember to back up everything and you'll be fine. I put an add-on domain to my main site (blue host allows you to host unlimited domains with no extra charge).
They are two totally unrelated sites and I needed them to appear separate. I was scared to death to wipe out my main site and did two full backups before touching anything! It all turned out fine. =) Now I just need to build content for the new place..

Waaahhhh!!! Ostara Outlander is no more....I simply cannot log in to SL, and can't get any assistance from Linden Labs and see now that they say SL likely won't work on a wireless internet connection. Not sure why it did before. Whenever I get near a DSL connection I'll try to log in just to say hello, if any of my friends are there that is...

Ha!! After many months, I did do the sales letter--then my computer crashed--
