Betsy and I are having a quiet xmas at home- one kid headed west, one pregnant and due any day, on headed this way with a brand-new grandkid for betsy to spoil, and one with head head stuck in a computer...

Planning on spending xmas day with friends.

I'm creating product in my bathrobe and satin, eating smoked salmon, drinking dark roasted fair trade coffee with cream...
"No kids for a week " gleefully shouted the single mom of four, who just pulled off a birthday party for daughter Hope with 8 eight year olds, a winter solstice family celebration and the best retail week ever at her brick and mortar health food store.

I truly is absolutely lovin' some time off sans kids

just solo.
