What's Happening Out There?
What are people doing to build their portable empire? I'm curious to hear of ways that people plan to make a living through their computer or the web or whatever. Besides, we need to wake up this forum and get some dialog going.
I have been studying web marketing for a while now. I have run a couple Google Adwords campaigns with no success yet. My website - http://www.pool-and-pocket-billiards-resource.com/ has been running for about a year and a half now. I started Google Adsense ads on my site about six months or so ago. I am just coming up to the $100 dollar limit to get paid a check. I need to get way more traffic on my site so I can make a respectable income from Google ads. I have recently begun a renewed effort to add some more content to my site and bring my traffic rankings up much higher. Karen Kay has given me some excellent suggestions. Any one else care to chip in?

Yee hah! I'm an expert author now, or at least Ezinearticles.com thinks so. I submitted my first article to them yesterday, and today they sent me an email that says that my article has been accepted and published. It's here - http://www.ezinearticles.com/?Concentration---Your-Key-To-The-Next-... Must have been a slow day at Ezinearticles. 8^) That gives me some motivation to write some more.
About Unlocking Natures Secrets.com - I plan to do the same as with my pool site, build a site with a lot of good content, get some decent traffic, and then monetize it. I got the idea during my short stint as a Melaleuca rep. They are into all natural products and I agree with this philosophy. I also want to add some metaphysical topics to the mix. With this site I plan to follow Pat's advice closer and get a newsletter, blog, list, and all that going sooner. Time for some more research and writing.
